the teen voice of Troy, an organization of dreamer-doers and thinker-makers, meets first and third Thursdays of every month at the Troy Public Library
You don't just come to TAB to share an idea; you come to TAB to make it happen. We can give you the resources - whether they're in the form of promotion, audience members, volunteers, or whatever else - to make your dream event come true.
Teen magazine? Check.
Open Mic Night? Check.
New Year's Dance? Check.
Capture the Flag with Nerf guns? Check.
First LGBTQ-oriented meeting at TPL? Check.
The Teen Advisory Board of Troy is a group dedicated to the betterment of society by doing what makes us, individually, happy. Maybe that's working to fix parts of the school systems we don't agree with or starting a tutoring program for musicians, or simply trying to brighten someone's day. Whatever makes you happy, you can come here and use it to make others happy as well.
If any of the events in the pictures above or any of the teen programs described on this website seem like fun to you, not just to experience, but also to plan and execute, OR you have an idea of your own for an event, then you belong here. Come check us out at the Troy Public Library.
